What files are supported in CADian Web Viewer?

The following drawing file types are supported (in v0.1.0): dwg, dwt, dws, dxf, dgn, ifc, rvt, rfa

For other file types, you can upload them to the File Manager to rename, copy, or move them, but they cannot be opened in the Web Viewer.

Can I open PDF files in the CADian Web Viewer?

The CADian Web Viewer v0.1.0 version does not support opening PDF files yet. Once the feature is updated, you can check it directly in the What's New section.

Can I create a new drawing in CADian Web Viewer?

CADian Web Viewer is a viewer service and does not support CAD editing features. Therefore, you cannot create objects, modify, or save in a new drawing.

If you need to edit drawings, please click here to install and use CADian Pro or Classic applications.

Can I open files stored in external cloud storage like Google Drive?

The feature to open files from external cloud storage is not yet supported in CADian Web Viewer version v0.1.0. When this feature is updated, you can check it in the What's New section.

User Interface

How can I change the language in the CADian Web Viewer?

CADian Web Viewer supports Korean and English.

How to change the language:

  1. Click Profile Menu > Settings, which will open My Page in a new browser tab.
  2. Click the edit button in the Language section.
  3. Select the desired language and click the Save button.
  4. Return to the Web Viewer tab where the drawing is opened and refresh the page to switch to the changed language.
I want to view the drawing in full screen. Can I close the menu?

In the CADian Web Viewer, you can maximize the drawing area by collapsing the ribbon menu at the top and the palette on the left. For more details, please check the Display and Hide UI page.

Where can I check information about feature updates?

You can check the version update history of the Web Viewer in the What's New section.

Where can I find the version details?

The current version of the Web Viewer can be found in the bottom-right corner footer section of File Manager. The version will be updated when new features are added or improvements are made.
