This markup feature allows you to measure the distance between two points.

1. Click the (Open) button at the right corner of the ribbon menu panel to open the hidden ribbon menu.

2. Click the (RULER) icon in the Annotate tab to execute the command.

3. Specify the first point where you want to measure the distance on the drawing. (The cursor will automatically snap at intersections.)

4. Specify the second point.

5. The distance between the two points will be displayed. (Unit: inch)

6. To measure the distance between other points, continue specifying the first and second points.

7. To exit the RULER (Distance Measurement) command, press the Esc key on your keyboard.

8. Once the command closes, the markup displayed on the drawing will disappear, and it will not be saved in the drawing.
